Today in viral photos: over the weekend, a brave little boy walked up to Pope Francis while he was giving a speech and hugged him. The youngster was part of a group of children who were invited to sit near the Pontiff as he addressed an audience of families in St. Peter’s Square during the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Council for the Family at the Vatican on Oct. 26. The youngster wouldn’t leave the Pope’s side, even though cardinals tried to guide him off stage. But the Pope was cool about it and even let him sit in his big white chair at one point. That’s the spirit!
